I use diverse techniques and materials such as; photography, tiles, riso printing, wol, or drawing to transform the poems into art pieces. Each Lichtgedicht is unique, hence: word art!
Lichtgedicht was founded in 2020 in The Netherlands by me, Majke Lüthi, to appreciate and share the things I am most passionate about in life; spontaneous encounters, nature, family, art, and love.
After my study Social Psychology; volunteering for NGO’s in Oxford; and working in he financial sector, I decided to invest my time in doing what I love most: writing and making art.
Teaching and practicing mindfulness surely accounts for the sensory character of my poems.
To me, writing and practising mindfulness go hand in hand: both demand an open, curious attitude, as well as courage to be open to new adventures.
I love to collaborate with other artists, because of the synergetic effect that allows me to grow as an artist, but also simply because it’s so much fun.

Lichtgedicht werd in 2020 opgericht door mij, Majke Lüthi, om zelf stil te staan èn met anderen te kunnen delen waar ik me in het dagelijks leven over blijf verwonderen: spontane ontmoetingen; de natuur; kunst; familie; de kracht van liefde.
Na mijn studie sociale psychologie, heb ik na omzwervingen naar Engeland en het bedrijfsleven gekozen voor hetgeen ik altijd al wilde: schrijven.
Mijn recente opleiding tot mindfulness-trainer draagt vast en zeker bij aan het zintuigelijke karakter van mijn gedichten. Voor mij gaan schrijven en mijn beoefening van mindfulness hand in hand; beide verlangen een open, nieuwsgierige blik en de moed om nieuwe avonturen aan te durven gaan.
De Lichtgedichten schrijf ik met de hand of type ik met mijn typemachine, om ze vervolgens via diverse technieken en materialen passend om te zetten naar kunstwerken. Elk exemplaar is uniek, zodoende ontstaat: dicht-kunst.
Ik werk graag samen met andere kunstenaars, vanwege de synergie die ontstaat, waardoor ik groei als kunstenaar en als persoon, maar natuurlijk ook omdat het gewoon heel gezellig is.
